How Essential Oils Affect Your Vision. What Not Enough People Know About

Essential oils, or aromatic liquids distilled from plants, flowers, seeds, roots, bushes and trees. That are much more potent that dried herbs. It is very important that you use therapeutic grade essential oil. This oil is the one that is complete in its chemical compounds and also retains the innate coherent vibrational frequency of the original plant materials. The reason this is important is because the oil’s frequency, fragrance and chemistry all very important for its unique therapeutic effects.

Almost everyone of us has heard that we can improve our eyesight by eating carrots. But there are many essential oils that can improve your vision and improve the appearance of the eyes as well.

Note: Never put essential oils directly on the eyes or eyelids.

Doctor Terry Friedmann, in 1997, with only applying juniper and sandalwood on the areas around his eyes, just above the eyebrows and onto the cheeks, eliminated his need for glasses. Although he was taking supplements too, his improvement is mostly to the use of these oils.

According to Dr. Axe  “Frankincense oil has been demonstrated to improve eyesight, helichrysum oil improves vision and supports nerve tissue and cypress essential oil improve circulation which can improve macular degeneration.
Apply 3 drops of any of these essential oils 2 times a day on cheeks and lateral eye area but do not put directly into eyes.”

For blurred vision

Apply lavender, peppermint, and helichrysum essential oils around the eyes, but be careful not to get anywhere near them.

1. Cypress

This oil is good for strengthening the capillaries and improving circulation. In addition, it can be used to treat diarrhea, asthma, bronchitis, varicose veins, cellulite, etc.

2. Frankincense

Frankincense oil reduces inflammation and can reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It also relieves stress, fights anxiety, works as natural deodorant,  prevents dental issues, relieves digestive issues etc.

3. Lavender

Lavender can be used for numerous different purposes, from using it as massage oil to a DIY air freshener, a body scrub, etc. This oil promotes tissue regeneration, and it is very soothing for skin as well.

4. Lemongrass

Lemongrass can be used in many ways too. Is is know as a potent analgesic, antidepressant, diuretic, fungicidal, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, carminative, antiseptic, astringent and anti-pyretic agent. Therefore it is able to tone and assist in regeneration of connective tissue, to promote lymph flow, dilate blood vessels, strengthen vascular walls and improve circulation.

5. Sandalwood

Sandalwood has many health benefits thanks to its anti-inflammatory, diuretic, carminative, antiseptic, sedative, disinfectant, antispasmodic, astringent and emollient properties. In helps to improve the circulation and revitalizes and hydrates your skin as well.

How to Use Essential Oils for Vision?

Remember to always apply the oils around the eye socket of your eye. Never put them in your eyes because that will be very painful! But, in case you do, do not use water to flush it out! It will only spread it more. Instead use another carrier oil like olive oil, coconut, almond, etc to get it out easily.
