The Japanese method to reduce stress

In the West, people rarely know that each part of our body has certain powers, especially the fingers. Every finger is associated with a different emotion or feeling. The theory is that by applying pressure or massage on a particular finger you’ll relieve a particular pain.
If you put your palms next to each other and press them together for a few seconds, you can eliminate something negative in your life (including certain ailments or diseases that can result from toxic emotions).
To better understand how this works, you must first know of the powers of each finger.
- The thumb: Worries, nerves, and stress.
- The index finger: Fear
- The middle finger: Anger and rage
- The ring finger: Depression, sadness, and indecision
- The pinky finger: Pessimism, lack of energy, and anxiety.
The “scientific” explanation for this technique is based on the fact that the hands are connected to your brain – specifically the area that is responsible for your emotions.
In order to perform this function, you need to put your left hand in a fist and wrap the fingers of your right hand around it.
Then put pressure on the specific finger related to your ailment or problem. If it’s stress, then you’re going for the thumb. Hold the pressure for about 30 seconds, rest another 30, and begin again as often as you like.
Apply pressure on your fingers and improve your life
Another way people work through their emotions using their fingers is based on a Japanese art known as “Jin Shin Iyutsu,” which translated means something like “the art of happiness.”
You massage the points on the hand as things happen. The thumbs are for concerns, the index fingers for concerns, your middle fingers for anger, the ring fingers for sadness, and the pinky fingers for pessimism.
Open one hand and pay more attention to the finger that is closely related to your situation.
Press on both fingers for a few minutes using the thumb and index finger of your other hand, or you can close the finger in question in the form of a “locked” fist. Once complete, switch hands and repeat this exercise.
