Don’t Go About Kissing Everyone; New HPV Virus That Kills Faster Than HIV/AIDS Erupts

Students from Kisii University, Kenya and the general public at large have been warned against kissing carelessly due to an outbreak of Human papilloma virus, which has seen several people admitted at Kisii level 5 hospital after testing positive to the disease.

HPV is an infectious viral disease which cause mouth cancer and is transmitted through infected body fluids and that’s why people have been warned against kissing any how they want.

The symptoms include sore throat, severe headache, High fever, Vomit and abdominal pains.

“We were told that public health officers from this area are working round the clock to know the root cause of this. But we are being advised even on WhatsApp groups to avoid kissing and exchanging body fluids,” A third year public health student from Kisii University lamented.

The HPV is gradually circulating Kenya and gradually making its way into the Southern parts of Africa and will soon hit Africa at large.

Africans are believed to travel a lot to all parts of the world. So if proper awareness is not created, this is likely to hit the whole world in no distance time.

You are hereby advised to warn and inform family members, friends, well wishers and colleagues about this deadly disease that kills faster than HIV/AIDS.

”Please make sure this warning gets to your loved ones,” the third year student concluded.

8 Real Reasons Why Kissing is in Fact Good For Your Health!!! You Will Be Surprised By Some Facts!!

Kissing represents a form of expression of people’s feelings and is known to bring two people together even more than making love. However, there are certain hidden advantages that kissing has for us that you may not have heard of before.

While kissing we exchange germs and saliva which can actually be healthy for us. This boosts up our immunity since even the slightest kissing encourages the production of more saliva than usual and the acid in our mouths, as well as leftover food particles, are washed away or neutralized.

Furthermore, while we kiss our body produces endorphin often referred to as “the happy hormone” and dopamine, both improving the mood as well as the state of the kisser. You must kiss at least 20 seconds in order to get all of these benefits.

These are a few reasons why kissing is good for you and brings a number of benefits to your health:

1. Kissing helps burn calories

2-3 calories a minute to be exact. It is not the same as the gym or a more intense physical activity but here is an exercise that requires no sweat or tears *wink*

2. Kissing will make the bond stronger

While kissing the body produces the hormone oxytocin which promotes intimacy and makes the relationship stronger.

3. Kissing improves the intimacy in the relationship

Intense French kissing serves as a great foreplay and increases the length of making love and the game itself. Kissing can improve everything, from your mood to your energy levels and your relationship of course.

4. Kissing prevents diseases

As certain studies have shown, French kissing helps women build a stronger immunity against cytomegalovirus as well as one during the flu season. So get your kissing on and keep yourself, healthy ladies!

5. Kissing makes a marriage stronger

Married couples who like to occasionally have a so-called “make-out session” tend to leave their arguments behind and settle them much easier and faster.

6. Kissing makes people happier

This has to do with the production of endorphin which is the happy hormone.

7. Kissing reduces pain

While we kiss a certain amount of adrenaline is produced and that can help with a severe case of migraines or headaches.

8. Kissing lowers stress

Releases yours from your stress and anxiety and all the negative emotions. The increased levels of oxytocin help you stay calm and peaceful.

8 Behaviors Men Show Only When They’re With Their True Love

1. He Loves How You Look On Your Worst Days

Remember how much effort we put into looking our best during those early dates? Of course. All of us want to look and feel good when meeting up with a potential partner. Then there’s the actual relationship. As we spend more time with each other, comfort levels build, and our need to impress declines sharply. We’re free to wander around in our pajamas, stain our shirts, and forgo the hair gel.

2. He Isn’t Afraid To Make Sacrifice

When we are in love, it’s very much easy to make personal sacrifices. And when a man is with his true love, he will feel discomfort to see his woman unhappy. He will desire to sort out the problem and do whatever he can. As such, making sacrifices for your happiness is one way a man demonstrates his love for you. He will almost always put you first, even if it means changing his plans or stepping out of his comfort zone.

3. He Shows Vulnerability

Men being men, we’re cautious about showing any behavior that can be perceived by others as a weakness. In love, however, this deeply ingrained attitude often falls by the wayside – and we don’t care. If we’re in love, we’re far more comfortable with feeling and acting vulnerable. Vulnerability will assuredly make several appearances throughout a relationship – especially if we’re with you only.

4. He Listen To You Closely

It’s a fact that women are better listeners than men and men only pay attention to the things they are interested in. So, when a man not only hears you but actively pays attention and intelligently responds – a skill called active listening – you can have confidence that he’s smitten.

5. He Fights For You

Okay, personal story. This writer was visiting a hospital when his girlfriend was being harassed by a security guard and a couple of his ilk. When calling to ask where she was, the panic was evident in her voice. He was absolutely furious. After calming down enough to navigate the hospital, this writer came upon said dirtbags, rolled his sleeves up and unequivocally lit into them. (Mind you, this happened in a foreign country – so some restraint was in order.) Following the girlfriend’s pleas and arm tugs, we all left unscathed. What ignited my rage? The hurt in my woman’s voice. The stomach-dropping, gut-clenching hurt that can only be felt by someone who so dearly loves another.

6. He Is Proud Of You

In love, a real man isn’t shy about saying how proud he is of you. Whether you’re a fantastic mother, a hard worker, or reaching your goals, you can rest assured that your efforts don’t go unnoticed. In fact, all of the admirable things you’ve done and are working towards brings us a great amount of pride and joy. On a related note, we’re not (too) upset about losing to you. If you’re both very competitive people, he’ll probably feel a bit less crushed following a swift defeat! (Well done!)

7. He Fights With You

This one’s obvious, but just to avoid offending anyone – we’re not talking fights of the insult-throwing and drama-inducing variety. We’re certainly not talking about physical altercations. That said, if a man loves you and is emotionally invested in his relationship, he will initiate a “fight” to avoid losing you; even if that means fighting with the woman he loves. Why? Because we’re afraid. We love you, and we the slightest threat to our relationship is the equivalent of a punch to the gut. If we’re fighting with this purpose in mind, we want to make things work and demonstrate our commitment.

8. He Respect Your Family And Friends

If we know that someone is important to you, by default, they become important to us. The reason is simple: you cherish family and friends, and the last thing we want is to hurt your feelings. While we may not like one of your family members (see: “in-laws and husband”) or one of your catty friends, we’ll zip it because we know how much they mean to you

Drying Laundry Inside Can Pose a Serious Health Threat. People with Weakened Immune System, Asthma and Allergies are Particularly at Risk

WHY IS DRYING CLOTHES INDOORS DANGEROUS

A study conducted by Scottish scientists from the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow, revealed that many homes had dangerous levels of indoor moisture, 30% of which was caused by drying clothes indoors. According to the researchers, three-quarters of the homes surveyed had unsafe moisture levels, which stimulate dust mite growth. The same houses were also found to be at a risk of mold spores growth, which significantly reduces air quality and leads to serious lung issues such as asthma and other allergic conditions.

Experts are particularly worried about Aspergillus fumigatus spores, which can trigger lung infections.

A team from the National Aspergillosis Centre in Manchester, England, led by Professor David Denning, has issued a warning after a growing number of patients who have inhaled Aspergillus fungal spores have required treatment.

According to Prof Denning: “One load of wet washing contains almost two liters of water, which is released into the room.

Most of us are either immune to the fungus which grows in these humid conditions, or have a sufficiently healthy system to fight the infection.

But in asthma sufferers it can produce coughing and wheeziness, and in people with weak or damaged immune systems, such as cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, Aids patients and people who have an auto immune disease like Craig, the fungus can cause pulmonary aspergillosis – a condition which can cause irreparable, and sometime fatal, damage to the lungs and sinuses.

My advice would be when in doubt dry wet washing outside, in a tumble dryer or in a well-ventilated indoor space away from bedrooms and living areas to be safe rather than sorry.”

Moreover, people using fabric softeners are exposed to a higher concentration of cancer-causing chemicals, known as acetaldehydes, in their indoor air.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY

First of all, you can start by getting an outdoor clothesline, which is quite easy to fix. Plus, your clothes will smell better if dried outside.

Another thing you can do to prevent mold is to aerate your living space every day, use extractor fans and repair anywhere damp is getting in or remaining. This includes roofs, cracked wall tiles and windows.

Last, but not least, you can always opt for driers. As far as dryers are concerned, your best option is to upgrade your washer to one with faster spin cycles, ideally up to 1800 rotations per minute, and your dryer to one with a moisture sensor, which automatically shuts the dryer off when your clothes are dry, in order to save on energy costs.

8 Results 0f Drinking C0ke Daily

A lot of recent studies show that consuming sodas every day starts to wreak havoc on your dietary intake without you even noticing it. health4u  made a list of the most convincing reasons to refrain from drinking Coca-Cola on a daily basis.

8. Vitamin deficiency

The phosphoric acid contained in Coke along with caffeine, which has a diuretic effect, starts washing nutrients and vitamins out of your body 60 minutes after you had the drink. Imagine that happening every day. That’s how a vitamin deficiency starts.

7. Dental erosion

The high acidity and sugary ingredients of Coca-Cola cause tooth enamel and cavities. If you add in low levels of calcium due to vitamin deficiency, you can end up with your teeth rotting inside and outside. And it won’t take long.

6. Anxiety

Along with sleep deprivation, anxiety is a side effect of consuming caffeine. Each can of Coke contains the same amount of caffeine as a cup of strong coffee. It is also proven to be very addictive, so once you decide to cut your dose you might experience headaches, irritability, fatigue, or even depression.

5. Obesity

When we talk about extra weight, it’s not so much about how you look but more about how you feel. Excess weight is not a problem by itself, but it increases the pressure on your immune and cardiovascular system as well as your joints and bones, which are already weakened by a lack of calcium.

4. Skin problems

Drinking Coke every day has the same impact on your skin as smoking. Consuming soda has an inflammatory effect on the body due to high levels of sugar. It dehydrates the skin, emphasizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It accelerates skin aging, making it saggy and dull. It also exaggerates eczema, or very dry, itchy, inflamed skin, and acne.

3. Heart and blood problems

An increased level of bad cholesterol increases the chances of a heart attack. If you have only 1 can of Coke a day, you can already start suffering from high blood pressure. And women consuming these amounts of Coca-Cola are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes. Are you sure it’s worth it?

2. Risk of cancer

We are not saying you’ll get cancer if you drink Coke every day. But, due to the presence of benzene molecules in Coca-Cola and its plastic package, doctors recommend sticking to 1 can of Coke a week to reduce the risk of cancer.

1. Kidney failure

If you think that choosing the diet version of Coke is safer, then we are about to disappoint you. Zero sugar Coke probably doesn’t contain sugar at all. Instead, it contains artificial sweeteners that are way too unhealthy for your kidneys. Especially if you are addicted to having it every day.

11 Beauty Tricks That Are T00 Crazy t0 Be True

“Beauty’s a cruel mistress.” Health4u made a list of things that are both crazy and possibly dangerous for your health and looks. So take care, and think twice before trying something new.

Fire massage

The idea behind this crazy procedure is to place a towel soaked in alcohol and a special “elixir” on any part of the body and set it on fire for a few seconds. Open flames are used to stimulate cell regeneration and reduce dullness and wrinkles. Would you set fire to your face in the pursuit of youth?

Vampire facial

No, that’s not a fresh strawberry mask. That’s actual blood. A doctor takes blood from your arm, separates the lighter plasma in a special device, and injects it back into the areas of your face that need to be freshened or lifted. Makes a perfect Halloween mask.

Snake massage

Would you consider having pythons crawl on your neck as a remedy after a long stressful day? We wouldn’t. The movement of the twisting snakes and the adrenaline triggered by fear is said to have a positive impact on the human metabolism and a relaxing effect on the muscles. One Asian salon also places scampering mice and rats on people’s feet to help relieve tension.

Toebesity surgery

Your toes are too fat and you can’t fit into your new pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes? Your problem is solved! You can now have cosmetic surgery to make your toes shorter, straighter, or slimmer. Sounds crazy? Extremely!

Ramen bath

Have you ever dreamed about a milk and honey bath? That is so old-fashioned now. Instead, get some rest in a bath full of pork broth. Yes, you read that right. Supposedly, the soup stimulates increased metabolism and collagen to give your skin a healthier glow. And probably a greasy look as well.

Lemon juice in the eyes

Some people believe that lemon juice can change their eye color, so they literally drop lemon juice (read “acid”) in their eyes. This is extremely dangerous and painful, and it doesn’t really work. It will probably change your eye color and narrow your pupils, but it won’t last long, and it will cause stinging and even bleeding.

Tapeworms for weight loss

Surprisingly, there are people who are eager to take wonder pills with tapeworm eggs inside as part of their diet. That’s not just gross but risky and even illegal in some countries.

Macro lips

There are 2 types of girls: those who only use lip gloss and those who are ready to try every single trick to make their lips look plumper. What are they trying to do? Inflate their lips with a hair dryer? Stretch their mouth? Sometimes it is so weird that we can only keep guessing.

Eyelid trainer

The beauty industry will always find something to improve in your appearance. This weird device is designed to help shape double eyelids without the need for cosmetic surgery.

Hay wrap

What they do here is pile hot, wet, and herb-infused hay onto your body. Then they wrap you tightly in a sheet as you lie back and relax on a waterbed. Itchy grass napping is a supposed treatment for stiff necks, muscle contractions, muscle cramps, stiff joints, and obesity. Seriously, girl, go have a nap in a haystack. It’s free and natural.

Barbie face

The weirdest type of plastic surgery is copying someone else. Some girls just go crazy in their desire to look like a doll. This girl is actually known as Human Barbie with the face and proportions of the Mattel doll.

12 Gre@t Tips for a Happy and He@lthy Pregnancy

If you take good care of yourself during pregnancy, you can feel wonderful and give birth to a healthy baby.

HEALTH4U made a quick list to help you stay healthy and feel great.

12. Exercise regularly.

Regular exercise has many benefits for you, but it should be gentle during pregnancy. It helps you stay in good shape and cope with changes in your body, protecting you against high blood pressure and other complications. And after you give birth to your baby, it will be easier for you to get back into shape.

The best activities are:

  • Walking
  • Swimming
  • Yoga
  • Pilates

You can do other sports if they don’t carry any risk for you and you feel comfortable.

11. Check your cosmetics.

Everything you put on your face and body during pregnancy can affect your baby, so choose products which will be completely safe for both of you. The best options are natural products and mineral-only makeup lines. Check the list of ingredients that you should totally avoid.

10. Change your food habits.

Your menu should become healthier when you become pregnant.

  • Eat foods with fiber: vegetables, fruits, beans, whole grains, brown rice, and oatmeal.
  • Snacks should be healthy: yogurt, fruit, and whole grain crackers.
  • Eat a lot of fish or shellfish, but avoid those that contain a lot of mercury. The best options are salmon and shrimp.
  • Stay away from uncooked or undercooked meats or fish and other foods that can contain bacteria.
  • Avoid caffeine and artificial coloring.
  • Add 300-500 calories a day while pregnant.

9. Relieve muscle cramps.

Muscle cramps during pregnancy are a common discomfort. You can reduce the pain by self-massaging and applying an ice pack. You should also stretch your muscles properly before exercising and before going to bed to prevent cramps. Drinking lots of water and eating a balanced diet will also help you avoid muscle cramps.

8. Stay hydrated.

Drink at least 10 glasses of water per day, and carry a bottle of water with you wherever you go. This will help to prevent nausea and keep the amniotic fluid amounts at a healthy level.

But don’t drink anything right before going to bed because this will make you wake up several times during the night to go to the bathroom. Stop drinking one hour before your sleeping time.

7. Choose spa procedures wisely.

It’s necessary to relax and indulge yourself during pregnancy. But avoid hot baths and saunas as overheating is very bad for your baby. Also, some essential oils are forbidden as they can cause uterine contractions. Don’t forget to consult your doctor and say that you’re pregnant when making an appointment in a salon.

6. Fly smart.

The best time to fly is usually from 14 to 28 weeks of pregnancy. The risks of miscarriage, early delivery, and sickness are low. But still, see your doctor before, and notify the airline about your pregnancy. On the plane, drink a lot of water, and walk around every half hour. An aisle seat is the best option for you.

5. Choose natural remedies.

Use nonmedicinal remedies to relieve pregnancy symptoms like nausea, heartburn, and constipation. Sour or peppermint candies and ginger can help to reduce nausea. Exercises and a warm tub may help with constipation. Sugarless gum and warm milk will improve heartburn.

4. Wear sunscreen.

When you are pregnant, your skin becomes more sensitive to sunlight, so use sunscreen and wear a hat and sunglasses. Some doctors even recommend that you avoid staying in the sun and sunbathing while you’re pregnant.

3. Choose the right sleeping position.

Sleeping on your stomach is impossible. You also need to avoid lying flat on your back since the weight of your uterus presses on your spine and major blood vessels, which decreases blood flow. Sleeping on one side with your knees bent is the most comfortable and safe position. Some say sleeping on your left side provides the maximum blood flow and nutrients to the placenta, but this is not scientifically proven.

2. Go shoe shopping.

Your center of gravity will move, and your feet and ankles may swell. Buy yourself comfortable shoes with good support. It is very likely that you will need a bigger size while you’re pregnant.

1. Believe in yourself.

Pregnancy always causes a lot of fears and insecurities in a woman’s mind. Just remember that you and your changing body are beautiful. You are healthy and capable of going through pregnancy and labor. It is a natural and really joyful part of life.

7 Popular Food Combinations That Can Ruin Your Health

Even a child knows that eating beans and soda together can bring unexpected results. However, there are a number of other food combinations that can affect your digestion system badly and even make you sick.

Health4u  got familiar with diet specialists’ recommendations and put together 7 food combinations you’d better avoid.

When there is no time, a quick breakfast on the go is a common solution. Say hello to cheese sandwiches and coffee, and say goodbye to all the healthy properties of cheese. The simple carbs in bread prevent calcium from being digested properly and bringing help to your nervous and cardiovascular systems. Moreover, if you add instant coffee, there will be no benefit to your health at all.

Tip: If you love cheese sandwiches, then at least try to replace coffee with white or green tea.

This is a very popular combination for a summer salad. However, the latest research shows that combining these 2 vegetables can disturb the biochemical pathways of your body. This can lead to excessive calcination and swelling, and the vitamins contained in both vegetables won’t be digested properly.

Tip: Eat tomatoes and cucumbers separately. For example, today you can make a salad with tomatoes and greens, and tomorrow — a salad with cucumbers.

Who can resist a steak with fries? Unfortunately, this is a very heavy food combination. The starch contained in potatoes demands alkalotic digestive fluids, and the proteins from meat demand acidic ones. When together, they just get stuck inside your stomach and can bring such disorders as heartburn, belching, gas, and many others.

Tip: As a side dish to meat, choose nonstarchy vegetables — asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, or zucchini.

The same reasoning applies to minced meat with pasta. The salivary glands produce ptyalin and amylase, which transform the starch carbs (pasta) into simple sugars. When simple sugars cover proteins (meat), they create a dangerous chemical mixture that can lead to diabetes and CVDs.

Tip: It is better to eat pasta as a separate dish. Try to choose pasta made of durum wheat, and combine it with herb sauces.

This is one of the most popular combinations from our college days. Everyone loves to eat salty nuts when drinking beer. However, high-salt foods are not only unhealthy by themselves but also lead to dehydration and increase the likelihood of having another pint of beer.

Tip: When drinking any alcohol, keep water or soda at hand to avoid dehydration.

Sour fruits make your digestion work slower, especially in the morning. Besides, pineapple contains bromelain, an enzymic complex which can cause intoxication when combined with dairy products.

Tip: Add dry apricots or plums instead of pineapple.

This food couple has become very popular among followers of a healthy lifestyle because it’s nourishing and fast to prepare. However, some nutritionists believe that fruits, especially sweet ones, should be consumed separately. They stay inside the body for longer, slowing down the digestion system, especially when eaten with other foods. As for milk, it is also more healthy to drink it separately.

Tip: Use bananas as snacks between major meals.

7 Useless Body Parts You Have for Some Reason

In every moment of our life, we do common actions without thinking of how our body is actually structured.

Health4u will show you some peculiarities of your body that you never knew about before today.

7. Glabella

Surely, not all of you know that the part of your forehead between the brows is called the glabella. This spot is used to measure skin turgor in patients who are suspected of being dehydrated. You can also check your neurotic reflex with the help of the glabella. You just need to tap the spot between your brows several times: if you start blinking, your reflex is ok.

6. Tragus (catches the sounds from behind)

This small gristle of the external ear plays a very important role in hearing sounds from behind and defining the source of the sound in general. Reflection of sounds to the internal ear makes important frequencies stronger and increases sensitivity as a whole.

5. Span

Many of you have heard the fact, but not all of you know it for sure: your fingers can be used as a measuring instrument. In ancient times, this length measure equaled the distance between a thumb and a pointer. The length of the span varied from 7″ to 9″.

4. Levator labii superioris

You might notice the lifted part of the upper lip in most photos of the King of Rock’n’Roll. This peculiarity surely became his trademark. The muscle has a very simple name: the upper lip muscle (levator labii superioris). It lifts the upper lip, deepening the nasolabial fold.

3. Lip and tongue frenulum

These small folds are necessary to support the upper lip and the tongue. Thanks to the frenulum, your tongue moves to the desired direction, and its movements are limited. Some people have such a short frenulum that they can hardly speak.

2. Hallux (responsible for balance)

Hallux is another name for a toe. Thanks to it, we preserve our balance when in a vertical position. It goes off the ground with every step and gives support to almost 40% of our weight.

1. Lacrimal caruncle

This part of our body is the only really useless one on this list. Nevertheless, it’s interesting to know what a lacrimal caruncle is. Actually, it is a rudiment we received as a present from evolution. The small mucous detail in the corner of the eye is the developed third eyelid of amphibiotic creatures, which the human structure doesn’t need.
